Hello Jeff. The correct options should be both check boxes checked and
the radio button be set to use above configuration. Also, when you press
control-alt-w is WE starting fine with no problems?

At home I have a vista machine, vista home basic sp1, with beta2 and
speech will not start automatically.
I have no login set, so the computer just comes up when turned on.
I have UAC turned off.
