most of the problems are with windows mail not w e 6.1
when you alt tab between programs windows mail loses focus and you have to alt
tab out and back into windows mail, then tab and arrow around until w e stats
talking the mailbox list then tab back and forth between the message and mail
list window to make it work.
or you could create a hot key in the cursor menu by createing a small window on
the message window that would move the mouse to the window and click on the
screen. this would put the focus back in the message box.
the other feature? ? ? is that windows mail will automatically go to the
message list as you arrow down the maailbox list. even if you do not want the
mail box you are arrowing down.
unless windows mail has an option to stop this. i haven't found anything in the
options menu.

Subject: Windows Mail with WE 6.1

  Hello Everyone,

I recently got a new computer with Vista installed. I am using Window-Eyes
6.1. I am now using Windows Mail with some unexpected issues.

I am not sure what is going on here. Maybe I have some setting wrong or just
do not understand Windows Mail yet.

WE goes silent on me in a haphazard method in this program. It seems, but
not certain when I have other programs open and have alt-tabbed to a different
program and then returned. All I hear is custom control. When I use
control-backslash, I hear the set file for Outlook Express. If I close Windows
Mail and reopen it, all sounds fine. I have reinstalled the Outlook Express
set files from the set file manager. I have set to maximize the Windows Mail
window from the properties at the desktop.

Another similar problem is with my contacts. Apparently under Vista Contacts
are located outside Windows Mail. I noticed the silent treatment here as well.
I noticed the set file was Windows Explorer. I have also reinstalled this set
from the set file manager.

I am not really having this silent treatment consistently or with other
programs.

  Any ideas?

Also I have tons of memory on this new computer so I know there is no issue
with that.

Thanks in advance for any help.
