That's nothing. When virtual view was first released, there was a bug where the automatic update would open around 70 update notification windows for me. Can you imagine hearing the new update chime about 70 times and having to close all those? <grin>. I love alphas.

About scripts not loading or manual mode? When I attempted to close Window-Eyes, every one of the scripts which were "starting" for ten minutes, bombed, with errors. I had probably 20 windows with errors in them. Of course WE was not speaking since it was suppose to close and did, but all the rest of the windows I had to close with NVDA which I did. What is an explanation for this? Now, all seems to be well, all scripts loaded without errors, but it seems that "manual" mode is hard to adjust back to, "on," mode, and when "on," mode is selected, all but the "progress indicator" script was in "starting" condition, as I say, for ten minutes. I thought I would unload WE, and that when the pyrotechnics happened, that is unload WE with all the scripts save one, "progress indicator" that is, which was "running." Anomalies, anomalies, wow, again, what a display! Now if there was fire crackers, and rockets and colors -- all I heard were some other sound effects.
