Hi. If you are getting this behavior in FireFox it could be that FireFox is not keeping a history of visited pages. Can you check that and see what it's set to?

Yes, the problem of the cursor moving to the top of the page when returning to the previous page can b sort of got around in IE 7 by pressing "v" but gee this can be painful. Especially when numerous auctions and or links have been visited.

Under beta 2 and FireFox 3, pressing "v" does not work at all. It merely tells me something like, there are no visited links. Words to that affect anyway.

Returning to the previous link did work reasonably well in 6.1 and FF 2 but it seems, not with both the updates together.

you are right on all problems.
w e sfirefox set file remaining, just press escape key once to close the w e control panel. it is opening after the app is closed. the crect key to minimize all programs and go back to the desktop is windows d. this will work every time. windows m does not . browse mode going back to the top of the screen has been around since w e 5.5. about the only thing you can do with ebay after looking at an auction is press v to find the last visited link you were on. i have the same problem when filling in a form. with many forms you have to turn browse mode on and off for each edit box because the feild name will only speak while browse mode is on and when i do turn browse mode back on it goes back to the top of the screen every time.

Subject: Set file remaining

Using WXPH, SP3, WE 7 beta 2 Firefox 3

An on going problem experienced with WE 6.1, Firefox 2 and now with beta 2 and FireFox 3, is the set file sometimes being spoken after closing FF. This is with the new beta 2 FF setfiles installed.

Upon closing FF after a session with alt F4, FF is closed but the FF set file remains open and a windows key m is required to close the set file.

Another annoying problem is that the cursor is moved to the top of the page when returning to a previous page instead of remaining at the link previously executed. This happened sometimes in 6.1 and FF2 but appears to be always in beta 2 and FF 3. This is particularly annoying in Ebay when attempting to return to the first page after viewing an item's description. Sometimes it can be very difficult and frustrating to locate the item again. Of course, it is not only in Ebay this cursor moving to the top of the page problem occurs. It also happens in IE7.

Neville.
