Hi Jeremy, thanks for the tip I fond a sollution in the MSCONFIG area of the Run dialogue. I typed this into the run dialogue, shift tabbed to General, arrowed right to startup, tabbed to options and down arrowed to ZT. I unchecked this option, and hey presto, Zoomtext doesn't load at startup. Thanks fo rthe advice Michael

However, in 9.1, you can change the way ZT starts by going to the ZT Control Panel. Press Alt-S for the Settings menu. Press P for Programs. Uncheck the checkbox that says "Start ZoomText automatically when the system starts." If memory serves, this is set automatically if you use the configuration found at www.gwmicro.com/kb1089. I'm running Window-eyes, Zoomtext 9 and JFW on a laptop, and want WE to be my primary speech tool. I have managed to set JFW to start only when a hot key is pressed and know that this is possible with Zoomtext also, I've done it in the past. Problem is, I can't remember where in the menu system the option to set this is and can't find it when looking. Can anyone help?
