Hello
I have HTML composing turned off and can still not read what I'm typing
when composing or replying to a message. It used to work, but somehow no
longer. What could be the problem?
Regards
Christo

Do we know if this is something that is wrong with Thunderbird or if it is a Window-eyes problem? Sorry if I missed it, but turning off HTML composing isn't really
anything but a short term solution.

Hi. In the message compose section of accounts alt-t then C. turn off
html composition so it's not using fancy html formatting and things read
much better.
I plan on making a document available which details all the little
things like this which should be changed for better performance.
Many thanks.

Hi, everyone
I've just installed Thunderbird and the scripts, and for some reason,
I'm unable to read what I've written after composing a message. In
other words, in other clients like Eudora, which is what I use now, I'm
able to use my up and down arrow keys and read back what I've written to
make sure it sounds right, I like to do this before I post a message,
smile. I've tried this with Window-eyes and a few other screen-readers,
and none of them seem to be able to do this, is this how the program is,
or is there a setting that I need to change? Note that while a message
is open and I've pressed control plus r to reply, I went into the
options and chose the quote original message option. I'm able to read
what the original message is, but not what I'm writing. I'm also not
able to do this when composing a new message either.
If I can get this to work, I may switch to it completely, but I would
like to get this working first.
Thanks for any help folks.
Chris
