i had a thought on that one as well, meanning that the scripts should be looked at to make sure that if there is a on shut down event that it is being passed to window eyes correctly then window eyes could shut down propperly ----- Original Message ----- From: Stephen Clower To: gw-info-gwmicro.com Sent: Saturday, August 23, 2008 9:49 AM Subject: Re: bug in window eyes shutdown sequence
Also keep in mind that the scripts you have loaded might be causing the problem. I don't know of any specific scripts, but some have been known to shutdown improperly and, as a result, leave Window-Eyes partially in memory. - Steve Sunshine wrote: i can tell you that the window eyes exe file stays in the processes that are still running you might consider getting the kill window eyes script from the script central site from what i know they are supposedly suposed to be working on fixing this one. ----- Original Message ----- From: Chris Reagan To: [email protected] Sent: Friday, August 22, 2008 8:07 PM Subject: bug in window eyes shutdown sequence Hi there all: I'm noticing a bug where window eyes hangs in the shutdown sequence when I try to unload it. Can anyone duplicate this problem? I'm using a del optiplex with winxp sp3 on an 80 gig drive with approximately 1 gig of ram.
