I thought so, I do believe this is a skype issue and not a window-eyes
problem.  I have seen this issue with other programs that require the
extra's manager until the program is invoked.  The extra's manager service
does not start.  the simplest solution I can see to the problem is when the
scripts load to have them  automatically repeat the last status or something
of that nature that uses the skype extras manager to automatically invoke
it.  To ensure that it is running.

Idid as you suggested and, indeed, the scripts areworking without having to 
do control shift windows key t.  I am however going to remove skype from my
