hello. Create a new text file and put the line:

Screen_Numbers = Synthesizer

Place this file in the location of your sets. Now from the Window-Eyes control panel, choose the file menu and choose text2set. If using Window-Eyes 7, this menu item is found under Manage Sets and Scripts.

For the input, give it the name of the file you moved into the sets folder. I just use 1.txt to keep it simple. For the output type *.0* and this will apply to all set files.

If you did this correctly, it will compile this screen choice to all your set files so they will be available everywhere. You have to do it this way because screen numbers are local.

Many thanks.

Hello all,

I've read the part in the manual that talks about global settings but can't find an answer to this question so thought I'd ask. Is there a quick way to save my setfile and make the settings apply globally? For example, I change the screen voice pronounciation of numbers to synthisizer and want it to apply everywhere. Right now I have to set it in every app I go into. Is there a way to make this a global setting? I have my global setting set to voice and verbosity. Thanks,

Mike
