Hi, Richard.

In applications like Notepad or Word, Control-Shift-F routes the mouse
pointer to the search text. In Browse Mode, Control-Shift-F routes the
Browse cursor to the search text.

In Notepad, you will need to use Notepad's search function, Control-F, to
find the plusses and minuses in the edit screen. When the Notepad search
dialog opens, type the text, then press Alt-F.

Subject: Window-Eyes Search in Notepad?

Hello listers and GW-Micro Staff:

Am I the only person experiencing this problem with The betas?

When I perform a Window-Eyes Search in Notepad, Window-Eyes actually finds
the desired string as it reads the line containing the text; however, the
focus is not taken to the found string. Focus remains where it was before
the Search was invoked.

Here's how I duplicate it: Access the Window-Eyes Readme from the Control
Panel, Help, Readme.

Press CTRL-SHIFT-f to invoke the Window-Eyes Search. Type "++" in the
Edit Box.

Hit ENTER to execute the search.

On my machine Window-Eyes reads the first line containing the "++"
characters. Unfortunately, the focus remains at the top of the Readme file.

I have reported this behavior to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a previous beta
with no response.

I'm using beta three on an HP DVX 9500Z notebook with Vista Home Premium,
2GB memory.

  Thanks.
