Hi, I setup user windows in Adobe Acrobat Reader 9.0 at the top of the page there are three textboxes in the toolbar which has Current Page Number, Zoom in percent and Total Pages which you need to be read out. If I had not set say the Page Number window I have to take the mouse pointer to the top of the page and bring it down two lines to get the curren page no.
User Windows are for convenience, that's my understanding.
