You will find that the msg is actually deleted, but that Window-Eyes
still reads what is in memory, not what the current focus is. So,
your delete key is working properly, and if you think not, you'll
miss a lot of mail since window-eyes stays reading what it "thinks"
is in focus, not what truly is highlighted.

Howdy yall,
I have ran in to a strange behavior with wineyes beta 3 in eudora
v7.1.0.9; while in any mailbox, if I want to delete a message, I
use to just hit the del key, but now if I do that, the focus stays
on the message I just deleted, even though the message goes to the trash.
Now if I hit the ctrl+d combo, the message goes to the trash, and
the focus goes to the next message like it is supposed to.
Any thoughts?
Thanks much, lou
