We are unable to duplicate this on any of our machines. The only way
we will be able to solve it is to get a machine from someone who is
having this problem.

Recently, there has been some talking on the list, about problems
that arise when a computer has gone into STANDBY mode, and you wake
it up. Several users, myself included, have had the experience, that
the only way to get WE going again, would be to reboot the system.
Someone suggested that the loss of speech, would be due to the sound
card drivers not loading properly, when the computer is rewoked.
Well, I just took my computer out of standby, a few minutes ago, and
had NO SPEECH. What blow the whole theory of the drivers not loading
properly, all to the ground, was that not even my Braille display,
would show any sign of life. Don't try to blame the blank Braille
display on a sound card driver ... :) My next idea was to try to
load NVDa, since it solely would depend on the sound card. And,
guess what! YEP; you got it. NVDA loaded TROUBLEFREE. This simply
tells me, that there is no probem with my sound card drivers loading
- of which I have had a feeling all the time - and that the loss of
speech (and Braille) all is due to some mysteric behavior from WE.
Seems that WE thinks idle time, equals to bed time.
