Actually it is pretty simple to get the contact list to speak I was able to do it with about a 10-line script. But I just threw it together rather quick. It does seem to crash quite a bit with WE running, haven't seen it crash so much without WE so I'm not sure which side is to blame for that. But, there are outstanding issues even left over from the MSN Messenger days that are still somewhat annoying so I'm not really holding my breath on the Windows Live Messenger team to take care of it.
