Thanks for a great post. One of the things we as Window-Eyes users will
now have to get used to is the reality of what scripts are and are not.
Yes, probably the vast majority will do what they are supposed to do for
the vast majority of folks retrieving them.
But, as this is sort of a cottage thing, in many respects, some scripts
may end up being poorly designed, work well on a specific machine or
otherwise just not meet one's expectations or needs.
And there could easily end up being several scripts for the same program
or task with that in mind.
As a user, I want things to evolve quickly and without fail.
I have had some good experiences with scripts and also some
disappointments.
That is to be expected and that is part of the learning process for
GWMicro, users and script writers.
Over time, this may prove to be the greatest enhancement ever to
Window-Eyes; but as is the case of something attempting to take a great
leap forward, that leap could also have some initial setbacks.
