I'm sorry but you have not provided one iota of proof that all these
issues are procipitated by window eyes. While I'm not doubting your
word, I don't believe that window eyes is responsible for the problem
on this occasion. Window eyes on my system exits before shutdown
without any hitch.

Sorry, no. The load time for WE7 is more or less the same as with 6.1
My problem with WE7, and I don't really know the root cause lies with WE, is
on shutdown. I had no trouble with shutting down until I did the upgrade.
Now, three times out of four, and yes I'm keeping track, when I do a start,
shutdown, shutdown with WE7 running I end up having to restart WE7, bring up
the task manager, fo to the Processes tab and end the explorer process.
Then I can shut down from within the task manager. However, when I do this,
on the next power up, I will consistently get the active desktop error and
then when I hit restore, I get a script error. Not a WE script, an active
desktop script error. I think.

Subject: So slow
Hello list,
Does anyone else see a noticeable difference in how long it takes Window
Eyes 7.0 to come up? I have had Window Eyes for eight years and this version
takes longer then any other one. I have a Xp pro machine and a Vista Premium
machine. The only things on the system tray of both machines, are Nod 32 and
Win amp. It takes so long to come up at first I thought something was wrong
and it was not going to come up at all. Does any one see this?
David
