What mode is your video card in, go check in your nvidia control pannel,
is it single or dual monitor mode?
I've come to the conclussion that we has some trouble with some of these
newer cards in dual mode.
Also the dcm issue gw mentioned about, concerning xp and text only going
to the primary monitor.
Jaws must depart, atleast in some respects from dcm, because it functions
best in dual monitor mode.
many of my problems I've been bitching about and making everybody mad over
get much less when I let we run in single monitor mode, but jaws takes a
crap and doesn't like this at all.
So I have to switch display modes to make my readers happy.
Also, and I'm sure you probably did this, but did you install all the
chipset software if required, intel always wants this, and also some of
the new mobos require a bus patch qfe for audio and video so sound drivers
will work, and I suspect maybe video cards too.
Take on your mobo site and make sure you read all the docs and make sure
all the junk is set up right.

Hello there
i just reinstalled my os, which is windows xp pro with sp 3.
i am using an nvidia gforce 8800 series video card, with latest drivers
from manufactor. my issue is that in spl when i navigate to the mixer
output tab, instead of reading the buffer rich edit box, and giving me the
buffer size, window-eyes says, "buffer s"
also, when i press insert-g from any application, the announcement of auto
lable graphics is not spoken. however, pressing escape tells me it has
been interupted.
anyone having thi same issue?
is a corrupt install of windows?
