Hi Andy,

If you try to install it and it is the wrong driver, it will say no
supported hardware found. So go for it.

All the best

Steve

Subject: ATI Video Driver

i have an ATI Radeon X300 series video card running under Windows XP
Home. I went to the ATI site, and clicked on the link for Radeon
X300, and was offered the Catalyst 8.9 driver, released on September
17, 2008. I downloaded the driver, but have not yet installed it,
because i am not sure it is the correct one for the Radeon Xpress
card. i must admit that i know nothing about this stuff, but I do
know that you can cause a disaster by installing the wrong
driver. Does anyone know if the above driver will work with my
card? I wonder why the old driver was good enough for WE 6.1, and is
good enough for JFW 9, but not WE 7.0.

Andy
