I use McAfee here at home, but access is quite flakey. I would recommend you work out your issues with NOD32 unless you don't trust its ability to nab viruses;they have worked on accessibility of their program where McAfee and Norton have not.
McAfee acts like an AJAX (web 2.0) application. It makes constant use of the browse mode, but what loads there depends on where the mouse pointer is in the interface. Often browse mode will not be available until you click something somewhere else. And sometimes you need to look outside the active window to see what has changed. I would shudder to think what would be required to write a script for McAfee. McAfee Security Center is not as easy for me to figure out as it was 3 years ago when I started with the Windows version of it.
