Subject: Re: notebook Num pad problem

Hi. The solution is to get a more standard numpad. I have one of these in fact. However the model I have was purchased around 3 years ago and it works most of the time. I paid around $10 at Target for it. You might just have to shop around, opening the package, plugging it in, making sure it will work, then buying it.

Or if you don't want to do all that, do what I did and use the FN key on your laptop.

Hope this helps.

I just purchased a Targus num pad for my laptop. WE does
not speak the numbers. No matter what key I hit it says num lock off, but the number is entered on the screen. What can I do here to make WE speak the numbers. Also, With num lock off it does not move the mouse about the screen as it should.
