Using control shift a to turn off browse mode does not help. Browse mode still
turns itself back on in the middle of typing in a search term.

Hi,
Try control shift a instead of using enter to turn off browse mode and see if
that works.

Subject: WE 7.01 and firefox
I have installed WE 7.01 on both my Vista Home premium and XP home edition
computers. I am running the latest version of Firefox and have Google set as
my home page. When I attempt to enter a search term I first make sure I am on
the search edit box then hit enter. I get the announcement that browse mode is
off so I start typing in my search term. After just a few characters are typed
in browsmode comes back on so I am no longer entering characters into the
search box. If I hit enter again to turn off browse mod and start typing again
the same thing happens. The characters I typed before browse mode magically
comes back on are there but with browse mode not staying turned off I can not
complete a entry of a search term. This problem did not happen prior to WE
7.01.
I have already tried to uninstall and reinstall firefox and to uninstall
and reinstall the firefox sets with no improvement.
