I am not bashing anyone or anything. Making a statement that I am unable to reproduce the problem is not bashing. It is a statement of fact that I am unable to reproduce the problem. Suggesting that it might be a computer problem versus the Window-Eyes problem is once again he is not bashing. It is a statement of fact that it may indeed be a computer problem. If the statements of fact has come across as bashing I do apologize. That was obviously not my intention. My intention was to convey that I tested the bug report, and was unable to reproduce it on this and I thought that this would be useful information to the people who are having the problem and to GW micro themselves. When a problem comes up, the more people who are able to reproduce it and can provide steps to reproduce it. The faster a problem will be debugged. I fail to understand how my report of not being able to reproduce this problem could be construed as bashing. That's me state once again that this is not my intent and I do apologize that it came across that way. Also one note I did not have any issue with the fact that my error was pointed out to me as you seem to think. My issue was that it was pointed out kindly respectfully witch once I saw this I did beg everyone's pardon. I saw no need for everyone to keep pointing it out after this. also this is not really an issue about my error. It is about reading a thread all the way through before remarking to see if you have something to contribute to it. making the same point over and over again once someone has already stated it is a waste of time. Pointing out that a person cannot reproduce a problem is useful information because this tells us that it is only happening on a few systems and it might be an issue with their system.

Having been where Trenton has in experiencing this or that problem, I have found responses from you less than helpful. You probably mean well, but, unfortunately, it doesn't come across that way. It was obvious that, on Friday, when the shoe was on the other foot and people were bashing you about you missing the Outlook Express in the subject line, you didn't appreciate it. I can only guess why folks were rubbing your nose in it; but I am guessing that seeing you publicly humbled for some was exceedingly satisfying. If you are an official tester of things for GwMicro, perhaps disclosing it would be prudent. Telling someone that their problem isn't yours fails to resolve anything. Even the folks in Ft Wayne, over the years, has figured out that just because their perfectly configured and maintained pcs don't exhibit a behavior some brings up doesn't mean that it cannot exists for someone else. Rather, what needs to be figured out is why Trenton is experiencing what he is as, very likely, others somewhere and someday will see the same thing. It may be rare, it may possibly be due to something a user has done; but resolving it may well save many others a similar frustration down the road. Please, Jim, take these comments in the spirit given; but I am very tempted to filter out your postings as many of your comments are truly unhelpful and unnecessary. It is one thing when you see something and you have a solution; it is another when you dismiss something just because you don't see it. It is bad enough when such msgs come from GwMicro, it's worse when supposedly fellow users dismiss a problem in a similar way. All this does is discourage others from posting issues they are having in fears that someone is going to take them to the woodshed and beat them over the head about it. Commit every particle of your being...down to the smallest details of your life, eagerly and with perfect trust to the unfailing and most sure providence of God.
