Odd for sure. That's why I would just use Thunderbird without Eudora in the picture at all, but that's just me.

I had a difficult with Beta3 of Eudora under V7 of Window-eyes; plus, Eudora screwed up my Thunderbird settings so I had to re-copy my Thunderbird backup files. Not worth it. If I tried launching Thunderbird after installing Eudora, Window-eyes would not read the messages correctly.

Eudora 8 is basically Thunderbird with the Penelope extension. So, my own personal opinion is to just get the real deal and get Thunderbird without the Eudora name. It's accessible with window-Eyes. You might get more information if you read the list archives on Thunderbird since much has been said.

Many thanks.
