Hi everyone, Sorry for revisiting an old thread. Today, all of a sudden, my edit boxes disappeared from browse mode. All efforts to restore them have failed so far. I've reinstalled Firefox, haven't reinstalled Window-Eyes yet. Although why would it work 1 day, and not the next is a mystery to me. I have verified that edit boxes still work in IE. And that edit boxes work in both browsers using Jaws. Before I remove Window-Eyes and reinstall, I'm wondering if there is anything else I can try to do to fix this problem. It seems so bizarre that I don't have this problem yesterday, and today out of nowhere, it stops working. I would love to send my laptop to GW Micro to show them this problem, but I need to use it everyday for work. Anyways, any suggestions are appreciated. You could also try to reinstall Firefox and run it with no add ons in case there is one in particular which is causing this odd issue. I have about 7 or 8 extensions and edit boxes work fine here. if all that fails and it's still believed to be a Window-Eyes issue, someone would need to send us a machine which constantly has this issue so we can determine what the cause is. If it turns out to be WE related, having that machine will go a very long way to helping the individual as well as any others who are plagued by this annoyance. many thanks.
