I usually delete all junk from e-mail before forwarding and before Replying.

To delete addresses, other unnecessary junk, I do the following in Outlook Express 2003:

1.  Use the Reply or Forward command.

2. Hit Alt-space bar and then X. This will expand the window in which you are working.

3. Using your up or down arrows, find the line/lines that you want to delete.

4. While holding down the shift key, press down arrow as many times as you need. This will highlight the unwanted lines of text.

5. release the shift key and hit the space bar. This should delete all of the lines of text that you highlighted.
