Well, to go on a point Ralph made, I didn't uninstall anything. Simply reinstalled winamp, updated the win-eyes toolkit and updated to the latest winamp script. Seemingly, I repeat, seemingly, all is better or works more normally. So, maybe between what I did and what Ralph did to fix the problem, there might be some area in the middle which works the best.
