Shannon, I wonder if the problem has to do with the fact that you are using an older version of Office. If you can, I would suggest that you upgrade to at least Office 2003. I would think that this might solve your problem.
We have Office XP on our PC and have encounterd an annoying bug in Outlook; but this will be fixed soon with an upgrade. Hope this helps.
