Shannon, Do you have all of the updates to Office 2000? If not, then I would definitely recommend that you get them.
Also when you installed 7.0 did you install it over 6.1 and how many previous upgrades have you done prior to 6.1? This makes a difference as we found out on my work system yesterday as I tried to run 7.0 over an existing 6.1 copy with two previous upgrades prior to 6.1 and had nothing but trouble. I ended up doing a clean installation after removing We from my computer. Also if you are running the older version of Eloquence, I would recommend that you do a clean installation of WE 7.0 as the two versions of Eloquence don't seem to peacefully co-exist, resulting in gibberish from the newer version. Thanks and hope this helps. We just need word processing at this time and some simple spread sheets, so there is no reason to outlay that money for the multiple licenses to do that upgrade. WE didn't used to do this dinging before any seven version. And I just found that the help menu of the excel won't read the searched for results. I can hear the click of the choices as I arrow up and down but WE does not read the list at all. If I wanted to know what items were found I would have to choose one and F6 over to the pane to see what topic it found. and back to find out the next. What happened to WE? Is this all related to the SCRIPTS? I was not at all sure of using this new version of WE because of all this script stuff and am still even more leery that it is messing with what was not broken. If you can, I would suggest that you upgrade to at least Office 2003. I would think that this might solve your problem. We have Office XP on our PC and have encounterd an annoying bug in Outlook; but this will be fixed soon with an upgrade. Hope this helps.
