Mike, That's the way forms work in Word. You'll need to use the WE mouse cursor to read more of it, or, you'll need to "unprotect" it, so that you can move the cursor into areas that you aren't meant to write in, just so you can read those areas.
To unprotect it, assuming they did not use a password, you'll need to use the view menu | tools submenu, and choose the "forms" toolbar to make it visible. On it, on the right-hand end, is a button named "protect", which is pressed right now. You can unprotect the form by pressing the button again. That's more trouble than just using the mouse cursor, but it does give you complete access to all of the form, and not just the part on the screen at the moment. hth, Chip ------------------------------ Chip Orange Database Administrator Florida Public Service Commission [EMAIL PROTECTED] (850) 413-6314 (Any opinions expressed are solely those of the author and do not necessarily reflect those of the Florida Public Service Commission.) > -----Original Message----- > From: Michael Peterson [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] > Sent: Thursday, November 13, 2008 10:26 PM > To: [email protected] > Subject: weirdness in word > > I'm trying to fill out a State of Oregon application form. > Window-eyes seems to be reading parts of it but can't read > the whole formI can't copy it says read ap only. > Mike > > > > If you reply to this message it will be delivered to the original > sender only.
