Hello Peggy. If insert-numpad-plus twice followed by left mouse button click is not working, you can always try to simply use windows-b to focus the system tray. usually the programs which generate balloon tips also have an icon there. You can then arrow in the system tray until you get to what you want. Pressing enter is like a double-left click, pressing shift-f10 is like a right click.

Hope this helps.

Well, I tried that a million times and couldn't get it to work. I finally had my sighted husband try, and it even took him a couple tries, so I'm not sure what was going on. I'd hear the routed to tool tip message, but the clicking didn't do anything. Oh, well, we eventually got it done, though I wanted to do it myself with Window-Eyes.

Hi, all. I heard a message from Wetsock saying that an update had been detected and to click the balloon. It seems to me I remember there being a way to click a balloon with Window-Eyes, but I can't remember what it might be. Can someone refresh my memory?
