Setting the date back on the computer and setting the computer to a
prior restore point are two different things. It sounds as if you are
trying to set the computer to a prior restore point. Simply changing the
date back to a prior won't fix this. In fact, even setting it back to a
prior restore point mightnot solve the lost book from the recycle bin
either, but others might know more than I on that one.

I inadvertently deleted a book that I was getting ready to upload to
bookshare from the recycle bin. I'm thinking if I could set the date
back on the computer that maybe I could retrieve it. I can get to the
proper place where it shows setting the date back, but I can't seem to

choose anything. I'm using the latest version of windoweyes and xp.
Has anybody done anything like that and could you give me some tips on
how to do it. I don't even know if I can retrieve that book, but I
