Haven't had time to test it yet. Just installed the AntiVirus from Sunbelt,
and yes that one is quite accessible, even with WE6.1. What I have to say
though, is that Even with the AV - which is also including the AntiSpy
(CounterSpy) - after been running on my computer for two days, this is my
experience:
My computer has had four different attacks from Malware, that WAS NOT
discovered and blocked by Sunbelt AV (Vipre, they call it). The XoftSpySE
from Paretologic, told me about those attacks, of which at east one is
countered High-Risk.
Vipre told a 'ust installed' WinXp to have a trojan in the Explorer.exe,
which is a quite essential file... :) It did not suggest a repair, only to
quarantine the software, which blocked the whole system from doing even
essential things, like open the Start-menu. Ended up having to reinstall
WinXp.
With no obvious reason, and no further notice, the AV is turned off,
randomly. Only way I happen to notice this behavior, is because I checked
the System tray, where it told me, the protection had been turned off.
I am not able to upgrade to Service Pack 3, for WinXp. Whether that is
because of the Vipre, or something els, I don't know. Whenever trying to
download and install SP3, I am told the preparation of the download is
started, and getting to about 50%, it breaks, and tells me that the SP3 was
unable to be installed.
If the rest of the software from Sunbelt is the same unreliable, I am
tempted to warn against using it. A pity, since it definately seems to be
less aggresive on the usage of system resources. But if the less resource
usage is equal to less security, - well let the reader decide!

Subject: Sunbelt Personal Firewall
Hi Listers,
Has anyone got any experience or thoughts on Sunbelt's Personal Firewall
when used with WE 7.01? i.e. How accessible is it when used generally
with WE and more particullarly with the scripts activated?
Sunbelt also make the anti spyware programme, Counter Spy which is
currently quite accessible.
Using WXP Home.
Thanks
Neville
