Hello. The best way is to use the fn key. There are several messages on
this on our archives which you can search. In most laptops, the numpad
is accessed on the laptop keyboard by holding down the fn key. When this
key is held down, jkl becomes 123, uio becomes 456, and 789 becomes, you
guessed it, 789. The letter m becomes the 0/insert key. The different
manufactures differ on the next part, sometimes the layout of the slash,
semi, left bracket, and 0 keys do different things. It could be minus,
right click, left click, and so on.
I personally do not use the laptop layout because the fn key provides me
with what I want in a laptop keyboard.
