Hi guys. The recent posts about "how's Win-Eyes with Windows Media" got me to
thinking of something you guys might know the answer to.

If I want to listen back to an archived game, and in this case, I'll use the
NFL site as an example - since they both use realaudio and wmp. Both work but
there's one thing I can do in realaudio I can't seem to do in wma: namely,
fastfarward through a game.

This was especially true when trying to fastfarward through the
Dallas-Steelers game which if played in wma, would've been boring as hell for a
good portion with no way to fastforward. Conversely, with Control Right
-arrow, I could accomplish that goal in realplayer quite easily.

So you ask, what's the problem here? I can better control the volume in wma
whereas if I try to turn down the volume in real, it results in turning down
all the volume control, not just realaudio. End result? Very quiet speech as
well. AT least in wma, the only thing that's turned down is wma with no effect
on other volume controls. But, like I said before, with no way (or keystroke)
to quickly fastfarward through an archived game, therein lies the trouble.

   Any thoughts?
Jesse
