I have experienced this too and restarting Window-Eyes does fix it.
But still it would be interesting to see what causes it and how it can be fixed.

This does not happen with most applications such as GOLDWAVE, notepad,

I have seen this happen on the rare occasion that two of the same Window-Eyes processes are loaded. Do you experience the same issue when Window-Eyes is completely unloaded and restarted?
