Great points as well.
I wonder how we could test for things that cause screen readers problems I
wonder if we could partner with a spyware company to develop software that
could check a computer system for issues with drivers / internet issues in
other words the state of a system.
the reason we may need to use a company that keeps up on this stuff is because
they need to be continually updated.

I wonder if we could start a database of software installed on a system taht
gives we fits.
Just some thoughts but, I believe you are on to a great idea.

I think the problems are not so much with the screen reader itself but the
new nonstandard methods being used by spyware and anti virus developers which
can cause problems. I have been very lucky so far scripts not withstanding but
I also tend to be very conservative in the applications I try to use. I've had
some problems with avg free version 8 and there is a standard ham radio
applications called airmail which is driving me nuts. 73- pat kk3f
