The talking install works fine when installing from a thumb drive.

Very good point, I forgot about speech although I would think Windows-U
should work but can't say for sure and thanks for pointing that out, I
had a brain melt. Smile

Hello John,
Of course, hmm, the million dollar question will be, which drive letter
will the drive get? We should keep in mind that there will be no speech
until the installation process begins. Is it possible to start Narator
by pressing
Windows+U on these machines?

Hello:
I'd create a folder on the thumb drive, then copy the folders and files
from the Window-Eyes CD. Next go to start run, and type drive letter
meaning for your thumb drive, folder name\setup.
Example f:\wineyes\setup and I believe this should start with Doug
talking.

Subject: hmmm, how to get WE onto a netbook
Hi,
I just got a netbook and I want to put Window-Eyes on it. It has no CD
drive, as you probably know. If I use WE 7.01 on the machine, do I need
to download an earlier version onto a pen drive and then get the
upgrade? I read the kb articles regarding video support and WE Mobile
but I don't think that's what I want here. Netbook has Windows XP home
already loaded and internet explorer. Can someone walk me through this?
Thanks.
