Good things spell checkers.  Ever since Window-Eyes introduced the
feature I'm about to describe, I much prefer it to going into the Office
spell checker.  Alt-apostrophe takes you to the next misspelled word and
alt-semicolon takes you to the previous one.  Press the Application key
to bring up a list of suggestions.  Far nicer than messing around with
the dialog.

 

Depending on your Office settings, those commands will also pick up what
Microsoft deems to be grammatical errors.  I disagree with Bill on
grammar rules, so turn it off.  And I've just ended a sentence with a
preposition.

Hello I would like to know how come the spell checker will not work
automatically as it used to do with version 6 of window eyes with office
2007 I can not get the spell checker to work. I am using office 2007 an
the spel check will not automatically pronounce the misspelled word,
automatically spell an give me choices as it use ot do with version 6.01
and I am wondering how come this is the case now with version 7.01,  and
can this be fixed with a script or the set file is out of wak. I don't
know but I have noticed this after  installing version 7.01 on my
compute with office2007. Can someone recommend a solution or a fix to
this problem. This is not a problem with jaws but is a problem with
window eyes 7.01. if i could have some recommendation or solution to the
problem I would appreciate it .
