Anti-virus and anti-spyware have option to exclude certain folders, wineyes
folder can be excluded to increase the speed of wineyes for users who are
experiencing slowness.

I had a program from Microsoft which did not work untill its folder was
excluded from anti-virus real-time scan.

Subject: more on my Window-Eyes problems with speech and crashes

Hello Everybody,

I want to say here that I may have found the culprit with Window-Eyes
and speech and crashes, but not sure exactly.

I'm the one who wrote that long article that raised such controversy
over the fact that I had Window-Eyes problems, so, if anybody doesn't want to
read this then don't. Delete.

This is what I have done thus far.

First, I turned off Window-Eyes Scripts altogether, but that didn't
seem to stop the problem. So, I turned them back on.

Then I uninstalled and reinstalled the TripleTalk drivers and that
didn't seem to make that much of a difference either.

Then I turned off Spyware Doctor's Intelligard, but that didn't stop
everything either.

Then finally I disabled Spyware Doctor Altogether, but didn't feel comfortable
aboub that.

The problem was basically solved then. Window-Eyes wasn't crashing, nor
did I lose speech any more.

        However, suddenly I got this:

Antivirus 2009 wants to scan your computer for viruses. I didn't know what that
was, but I refused to let it scan. But I felt unprotected in that when I'd
turned off Spyware Doctor, it had warned me that my system was now vulnerable.
So I did some research on what Antivirus
2009 is, and thought I'd better turn on Spyware doctor again. I've just now
done that, checked my computer, had 11 infections and antivirus 2009. Spyware
Doctor Cleared all that and, guess what! All seems to be running pretty well,
now that I've done all that.

        Thanks for helping out here.

Take care,

Brenda
