I don't like the window-
eyes elloquents. among other things, on this machine I find I have to
increase the volume substantially with the window-eyes elloquents as
compared to IBM via voice which is my preferred synthasiser.----- Original

Nope and this is subjective of course. I here no difference between the
two. The main thing is stability. The window-eyes versions is much more
stable then the sapi.

I've noticed a difference in the sound from the old eloquence that I
have installed, to the new one that came with window-eyes. I think
the new one is using a lower sample rate or something, the highs just
aren't there. Any way to make it sound like the sapi version?
