Hi are you sure that window-eyes is not running? One possibility is that window-eyes cannot get your sound system. Another possibility is that the voice it turned off for that user.

Any thoughts as to why I don't get speech when the logon screen comes up? I never have had it speak at the logon screen. I am running WE 7.01 and Windows XP SP3. Thanks for any suggestions. There are two groups here The first group is for administrators In this group you will see a check box that reads run window-eyes at the log on screen. This is so window-eyes will read the log on screen. The next check box says run window-eyes after log on for all users. So after you log on window-eyes will then start speaking for all users of this computer. The next group of radio buttons will control just for the active user what happens. Using above configuration will respect the all users settings. Always will start window-eyes always for this user and never will never run window-eyes for this user. Set admin options Is so you are able to trigger the UAC in vista to set you as an admin if you are not already. Hope this answers your question. -----Original Message----- From: meadowlark77 [mailto:[email protected]] Sent: Tuesday, December 16, 2008 9:30 PM To: Jim Grimsby Jr. Cc: [email protected] Subject: RE: load before start-up We did tat. But it doesn't necessarily have as it used to, the startup automatically, don't start up automatically, or start up at log on. It's got a bunch of other options I do n ot understand.
