It sounds like you have some program which uses static boxes which is
coming up. I have a machine with the Toshiba Bluetooth stack and I hear
some static boxes. I think they are from that program as my other
machines without out this utility don't do this.

When I boot up my computer using we 7.01 and xp pro withal updates, I
hear static box repeated 3 times.
I think in the immediate past, I heard the same only twice, and prior to
version 7.01, I am not sure I heard it at all.
It is not a problem for running the computer, but, I am curious as to
just what it is.
