Hello Erik. Actually this is not correct. Well, you left out a very
important step. In order to adjust the speech settings at the log on
screen, you need to modify the all users global profile of Window-Eyes.
While using advanced menus, from Window-Eyes press alt-f, l, and up
arrow to all users. Press enter and now Window-Eyes will speak the same
as it does at the log on screen. Now what you say is correct. Make your
setting changes, save the set and reboot. Note that if you happen to be
using xp, you will first have to shut off Window-Eyes and then run it in
admin mode in order to be able to change to the all users profile.

Hi, Set up your speech the way you like it when you first start your
computer.
Once that is done, press control backslash.
Open the file menue.
Arrow down to save and press enter.
Arrow down to set file and all dictionaries and press enter.
You're done. Your speech settings are now saved the way you want them.
