yeah, I understand. And hey, if you have 30 minutes to kill, read the
standard disclaimer on www.asmodean.net

One should really read these, but I wonder how many actually do. Just read
through one of Microsoft's, it will take you ten minutes if not more and it
will make your head spin.
If you find a script going roag on you and hopefully it don't do damage then
I'm just not use any more scripts by that author

What if you have myscript 1.0 which has license terms of, you are
responsible for using this script at your own risk. However in version 2
I changed the terms to use my script to, you must pay me $5000 before 30
days or the script will delete your default folder and take all of your
window-Eyes settings with it.
Since you blindly installed all script updates due to your laziness
<smile>, you wouldn't know if a script author put in some oddball type
of agreement terms or better yet, a list of bug changes and/or fixes. if
you think I'm making this up, just go get the free version of wordweb.
Look at their licensing terms to continue using the free version.
many thanks.

The following suggestion is going to say more about my supreme laziness
than
anything else. I think it would be nice in the tool kit to have an option
to automatically update all scripts. That way, you are sure that all
scripts are kept up-to-date and you the user have to do nothing. Once
you've installed the original script.
Another good idea is this if you are authorized for it the weupdate script
could be made to just download the latest version of window-eyes and
install
it. this way you the user don't have to deal with the whole upgrade
action
thing. Just a thought.

Hi. Nothing is wrong with the updates. It's telling you that a new
version of this script is available. If you choose to ignore it, the
next time the script runs, you will again, get the update. So it would
seem that you can choose install so you can install the script. Once you
do, you will not see the update again until there is another update.
Also, based on your message and the buttons, you are running an outdated
gwtoolkit. So, it's probably a good idea to update all of your scripts
while you are at it.
Hope this helps.

Hi,
I wonder what is with the updates? I have been getting this message
announcement just about every time I boot up:
"1.05 or version 1.06 is available." It then asks me to choose whether
or not to install, download or download&install? What does this mean
and should I go ahead and do it? It comes from GW Micro.
The version 1.05 has not done it so often, but now, the version 1.06 is
asked about. Should I go ahead and download and install? If so, will
that affect my present version of Window-Eyes and if so, how?
Thank you.
Dave
