Did you try the Insert-R key to reclass and check if the control is a Edit box rather than a List Box?
When I installed WE 7.01 and the same problem happened in a Microsoft database application I reclassed the control to edit box and all is well. Let's try it again. I've been experiencing this problem in outlook express ever since the latest release of window eyes, don't remember if it happened in the betas. While composing email, at times I need to redraw the screen after doing some editing, by hitting insert back slash. After doing so, I no longer can hear the text I've written with the arrow keys, or by holding down the control key and using nomad 5 for current line, or 8 to read all the text. It's like all the text is gone, and what ever I try I can't get wineyes to read the text. I know the text is there because I've hit shift tab till I've gotten to the send to edit box and delete the person I was sending it to, and replaced it with my email address and it comes back with the text all there. XP home, service pack 3 and the correct set file. If you reply to this message it will be delivered to the original sender only.
