I have this very frequently in MS Outlook, but had assumed it was due to a problem with the GW outlook add-in (which you can see listed in the outlook add-ins portion). I had no idea it may be a more widespread problem.
What I do with outlook (2003) is to keep closing it and restarting it until one time it will start and reading the list views fine. I've also had it happen occasionally in MSIE 7, but not very often.
