Greetings John: This is a problem with WE that has been around for some time. It seems when WE tries to open an HTML message from time to time it will not automagically go into browse mode. I have a couple of work around that do help, but it is some what frustrating. First is to press control+shift+O when you open the message. This is the Outlook keyboard shortcut to change HTML and rich text formatted messages to plain text. Second, I press Windows Key+M to minimize everything then press insert+control+F4 to shut down WE. Then I call up WE by pressing control+alt+W. Does this solution remind you of any other screen reading application? Third I find that calling up Internet Explorer or an Adobe document gets WE to recognise the fact that it has a browse mode. Then I can alt+tab back into Outlook and call up the message again and it will often go into browse mode correctly. Finally, some times if I do nothing and leave those messages alone and go on to read other messages, things eventually fall back into place and all works well. Vic

When I press enter to open an html email message, I can't move around in the message using the arrow keys. Control alt w will read the message, but of course, there is a lot of stuff to wade through, before getting to the text of the message. Can anyone tell me what I need to do to get these messages to read like plain text messages, where I can navigate using the arrow keys?
