The idea that the 64 bit is being offered for the price of a CD rather than a full update charge should make everyone very happy. I just want to know when can I place my order for the new CD. Thanks GW and keep up the excellent support for your users. ----- Original Message ----- From: raj To: [email protected] Sent: Wednesday, January 07, 2009 12:52 PM Subject: Charging for Disks
Guys, I already see our mail box will be filled with this topic for the next few days. But, I know $20 is nothing for some, while it is a fortune for others. Just like some do not want to buy scripts, while others are willing to for getting the job done. So, depends on what the disk offers, and how much power it gives the user/owner of the disk. What I am wondering, will there be some stuff such as extra drivers to be installed? If so, then many might be comfortable with a disk than downloading, for with a disk, one can pop it in, and be up and running and not having to worry about getting on the website and downloading especially if the user only have one system.
