Yeah, I sid issues as in the plural. Throwing things has crossed my mind more than once, but it would scare the dog. Help, please.
Computers are not my strength, so bear with me. I have Window Eyes 6.1, which might be the entire problem. I finally got it installed on an Asus EEE PC 901 (the 8.9 inch screen). Two problems exist: 1. When on the desktop, it keeps saying "desktop" over and over again. It does not do this at the task bar or start button. It does do it when I'm in various windos and applications. For example, in the Window Eyes window, it keeps saying that over and over. It's bad enough that I cannot easily do anything that requires hearing the screen's other contents. 2. the control alt arrow keys function for modifying voice options quickly doesn't work. I attached a wireless keyboard just to make sure it wasn't the keyboard on the netbook. Same problem exists. I'd appreciate any input you might have to offer. And, if there's other problems you know I will be confronting sooner or later, I'd love a heads up. Thanks. Jen "Our stories may be singular, but our destiny is shared."
