Sandra,

the way Doug explained it the other day, if you need info from other
calendars other than your default calendar, you will need to go into
outlook and open all the calendars you need info from before you can use
the insert-C command.

Is that the problem, do you need info from other calendars?

Doug, I have given the insert-C command a good try, and I don't like it
as much as I do the outlook "active appointments" view.

This is actually a credit to GW in that you've managed to make outlook
so accessible, you should be happy that all of your customers feel like
they have a viable choice either way.

Active appointments allows me to only see items for today and the future
without accidentally drifting into the past, it doesn't require me to
keep changing the time frame, and it allows me to right click an
appointment and perform context menu operations on it which are
convenient.

Sandra, could it be that your problem is that you have the insert C
calendar set to the wrong date or the wrong time frame so you aren't
seeing what's really there?

I did notice some missing appointments from insert C one time, but it
had something to do with my issuing a meeting invitation which had not
been responded to yet; outlook showed it on my calendar, but insert C
did not.

hth,

Chip
